Hi everyone. I just came across this site and forum and i just wanted to take this out of my head cause i´ve been loving Kevin´s work pretty much alone all my life. As i write im listening to "You Go Now" here at work and, as years pass, i realize how good KM´s music is. Im not sure if im sad that he doesnt have the fan base numbers he deserve or happy that, because he doenst have it, he´s free to write the music as he feels it without any comercial limits. Both DAfR and You Go Now are two of my all time favourite albuns and i still listen to them on very regular bases (i bought Colorblind when it came out) and i dont remember a time when i got tired of any of them. Osi is diferent beast. I love all the albuns but sometimes the "metal" aproach puts me a bit off, tbh. Dream Theater...i gotta say that i never actually recovered from Kevin´s departure. I like DT but i think they lost their "magic" after Kevin left. He "pasted" everything around him with his clever aproach and feeling thus making the songs...songs. Not once i was able to close my eyes while listening to DT after Kevin left. Its just my humble opinion though.
Sorry for my mumbling and im sure i havent said anything that a zillion people here already said but i just needed to say it.
Thanks everyone.

I'm certain that a lot of your thoughts echo what people on these boards feel. Where I'm from, I seriously doubt there are many KevMo fans in the entire country - let alone around me - so I do feel lonely in that regard, and also kinda sad at the fact that KevMo is seriously underappreciated. At any rate, I'm just thankful that he is still making music.

Indeed mate indeed. It would help if he had more albuns i guess. DAfR and You Go Now are awesome pieces of music but if he doenst keep himself relevant its hard for anyone to follow. And his music is so easy to be apreciated, imo. Maybe his personal life gets in the way or he doenst want to actually be relevant, i dont know. I just wish he knew that he has indeed quite a lot of fans waiting for a musical drop for years which is a big testimony of how great his music is.

Welcome dude!
This forum is a beacon of light for us Kevin Moore fans! Although it's quite quiet now, but before we had many good times together celebrating Kevin's music.
His birthday is approaching, i would see if we can arrange an Online Birthday Party!
Kevin is "one of the few"! He's certainly not Kevin Moore by too many fans! And he knows about his fans. I bet he remembers the names of many of us on this forum or other fans as we helped him release his music every now and then.

Hi there, I have been listening to OSI and CK for several years now. I have all of the CDs, and I can honestly say there is not a single song on any of them that I don't like (many songs are amongst the best I have ever heard-52 years old). I am astonished that this music is not appreciated by more people. The KM sound is unique, and while starving for more, I am grateful for what he has done to date.
