Total has dropped to $1750 Has someone who had pledged $200 thinking it was a one-off payment for the whole album scaled it back to $20/song or something like that? Still odd...

It seems to change depending on whether or not you have logged in. I guess it's counting the non-logged-in value (before transaction expenses)? In which case, very exciting that we're nearly there!

It seems to change depending on whether or not you have logged in.. That is bizarro. When you are logged into site the total donations drop to $1,776.43 but if you're not logged in the total is $1,973.82.

I'm logged in and see 1983. I have seen it jump around, though.

Woo hoo, we made it!!! Thanks to everyone that contributed, we're going to get more CK - my personal favorite KM stuff
Re: the convo about Kickstarter vs Patreon issue - I prefer this "payment plan" style myself for a few reasons:
Kevin can focus all energies and songwriting/producing powers on a single work, intensely, for a month. Release the work, and repeat. If this gets big enough - imagine a world where we get a new KM song every month, 12 a year? I'm with that!!!
As jono said, this gives the independent artist a little security, a steady paycheck - which is, without touring in 2015, almost impossible in the music industry. And I think as the project goes on, more and more people will sign up. Once the "New song from former Dream Theater keyboard player Kevin Moore available now" news stories go around, and everyone hears an awesome song, it can only get bigger!
I don't make that much money, but i put a *lot* down for each song. I like that I can give a little more to support the return of one of my all time favorite music projects. on a payment plan, lol

Ugh... The total dropped below 2k. I wonder if someone realized it's not a one time payment like Kickstarter and removed a large pledge, or something. We were pretty far over the mark.

Hmm, that's odd. I wonder what this means. Patreon already notified donors telling us that we met the $2,000 mark for a full-length album. I guess we'll see.

message from kevin: <<Patreon recently made a change to the "total pledges" amount displayed on artist pages. Now it reflects how much the artist will actually receive after Patreon's 5% and Paypal fees. Here is more info: patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/206197906 >>

It says in the link that achieved milestone goals Will still be reflected on the page, but his page says we still need to get to the full album milestone.

Can't believe nobody's posted since last week! haha HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE.. first of all! The new CK demo, 11 years and 1 month in the making, IS really cool. If you haven't heard it I suggest contributing to the Patreon project. Just hope we get a full-length release later in 2016!! Jim Matheos is on the track but he isn't that noticeable. Mostly Kev's Rhodes piano and keys with drum track. Kevin used a poem by Leonard Cohen as the lyrics. He also said that eventually he'll write his own for this demo. Can't wait for that! WE LOVE YA KEVIN. KEEP 'EM COMING!! Below is Cohen reciting the very same poem.. enjoy

I especially like the instrumental part of the song. I wish Gavin Harisson had played the drums! It'd have been better, had Kevin wrote his own lyrics but anyway, it is a great experience helping Kevin create more music.

Being a small part "involved" in his music is such an honor and high privilege. FYI: last weekend I noticed the first Patreon pledge amount was deducted from my Paypal account.
