Hello everybody:
Welcome to the official launch of The Mooreatorium! I've been secretly working on this website for a few months, not sure if I would like the finished result or even complete it. But low and behold, I made a lot of progress and finished the website to coincide with the release of OSI's latest album, Blood. I'm not an html expert by any means, but I did my best.
In short, I created this website to be an online community for fans of Kevin Moore. We all know that Kevin is not the best at updating his websites and keeping his fans in the loop. Since the Chroma Key message board closed down a few years ago, many of us have tried to keep in touch via email, Facebook and other means. There has been a real need for an organized Kevin Moore website. I sincerely hope The Mooreatorium can fill that void.
In navigating the website, I'm sure you will notice grammar, spelling and coding errors here and there, as well as photos and information that needs to be added. I hope you will inform me via email (Mebert78@aol.com) so that I can make the necessary adjustments. Also, if you have any Kevin Moore-related artwork or memorabilia, please let me know! I want to add that too!
In the future, I also hope to conduct interviews with people that have worked closely with Kevin during his career - whether that be Steve Tushar, Charlie Dominici or others. It would be cool to get their insight on the creative process for various albums, while also finding out what it's like to work with Kevin.
Lastly, I named this website "The Mooreatorium" because I didn't want to strictly choose a DT, CK or OSI-oriented name. The Mooreatorium encompasses all of Kevin's work.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy!
- Mike
