yeah, they are, or where, the Beatles of jazz. "Black Marked" is my favorite. It was their first with Jaco, and he made it more groove-oriented.

That's quite an informative pair of links, Luke! The other night I was browsing vids at my local store and in the background I started hearing the same numbers station call sequence that's heard in Porcupine Tree's, "Even Less." I haven't watched film yet but it looks interesting! The song is listed on luke's link above. Another song that features a numbers station is Wilco's, "Poor Places" (below). In fact, the band actually chose the title of CD from this sound pattern. At the end of song you hear a woman say the name YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT repeatedly. Very cool.
