Well, knowing your history, I'm not even gonna try to outbid you cause i will fail! I have the tape already, as does Phil (sknowbird) who told me about the auction. So he and I would be bidding on the album insert basically lol. Not sure it's worth it for us. Good luck. I'm eager to see how it plays out!

If I had it, I would never sell it. Unless I had to buy bread for my child with that money. It's priceless!

Weird. Looks like I ended up being the only person to bid on it. Went for only $50.00 (the reserve price). I definitely thought it would've sold for more.

I like seeing how you raised your nbids strategically. lol. Yea, that's weird. I guess hardcore Kevin fans don't look on eBay for stuff cause it so rarely appears. But I figured maybe a DT collector would go for it.

Actually, the only reason I kept adding higher bids was because of the reserve price. I was trying to get an idea of what it was set at and was hoping to meet the reserve early. I almost always use sniping as my main bidding method, but if there's something like this that I really want, and there are no other bids on it, I usually try to put in a low bid early, because once there's a bid on it, the seller can't cancel the auction anymore. But when there's a reserve price, that only applies if the reserve has been met. (There have been a few times where I was watching something without any bids, and then the seller decided to end the auction early, I guess because somebody made them an offer outside of ebay)

Yea, there's definitely strategy to eBay bidding. Sounds you got it down. Typically, I make sure I'm at the computer two minutes before the item expires and I put it a crazy bid like $500. Then whoever is bidding against me keeps trying to raise their offer like a few dollars at a time, but the auction expires before they get anywhere close and I win. That could come back to bite me one day I could end up paying close to $500, but that never happened.

You just put in the item number and your max bid amount, and this will automatically put your bid in 8 seconds before the auction is over. And its totally free (for up to five "snipes" per week). I've been using it for years.
