I decided to leave out Mikaels Stockholm to see how the album flows without it, and just to be able to hear Kevins vocals all the way through the record . I think I will decide to have it as a bonus track instead. Have you done it?, or does it sounds like an good idea to you?

Hmm, interesting perfey. When reading some Blood reviews last month, I did notice a couple people say that Stockholm didn't seem like it fit lyrically and sound-wise. For me,I would prefer to have Blood without Stockholm and include it as a bonus track. That way you have Kev's voice the whole way through. But then, the album would be too short with just 8 tracks and no really long songs. I think I would have used No Celebrations (which has kick-ass music) on Blood but with Kevin's lyrics and vocals because Kev's voice would've made the song freakin awesome. Then I would've moved Stockholm onto the bonus disc.
However, I do like Steven Wilson on OSI 1. I think that's because ShutDOWN is more of a long epic-sounding tune, so it's almost like the mountain peak of the album. Stockholm, meanwhile, is not an epic song, so it's just slipped in there and kind of ruins the flow a bit.
Also, I honestly do often skip Stockholm when i listen to the album. I do like it, but I prefer Kev's voice with OSI music.

Nah, I like it very much and never skip it. Well, I do sometimes if I have to go out and just want to listen to Blood, but whenever I can I listen to the whole album. It's a breath of fresh air, it really gives you something different and then brings you back to KM's style and delivery. Although it sounds quite different I think it serves a purpose on the album and it flows really well with Blood.

Yes, I agree with you on ShutDOWN with Wilson, I really like that track and think it fits well on OSI s/t but its not the same with Stockholm to me even though its a good song. Liquid, I agree with you that its a "fresh breath of air" before it brings you back to "KM's style and delivery". So all in all, sometimes I leave it on, impossible to not leave it off when listening to the CD , and sometimes I leave it off, depending on the mood and If I want to hear it or not.

I do often skip Stockholm too, but I think a song with a guest singer is something I like in OSI. I love Kevin's voice, very very much, but A special song with another voice is something interesting IMHO.

I tend to skip Stockholm almost every time. It is a nice enough song, but I listen to OSI for Kevin and his voice. Shame they didn't have a bit more material for this album. It feels very short if you skip Stockholm.

I'm a big fan of Mikael Akerfeldt and pretty much everything he's involved in, but I think that's one of the weaker tracks on the album. That said, I think it works well that it flows well into Blood.
I usually skip Microburst Alert, though.
