Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirit

sucker leaked a few days ago and it's really really fucking good. It definitely caught be me by surprise. Really massive and it flows incredibly well for the styles explored and length namely.

Others thoughts?

I've pre-ordered the limited edition - but it'll arrive in the post at my home (in Sussex) while I'm living in Manchester. There'll be a three/four-week delay between the album arriving and me getting my hands on it. So I may well check the leak out.

Either way, I'm really looking forward to the album - Agalloch are one of my absolute favourite bands of the last few years.

I didn't realise Agalloch's guitarist is also an English lecturer! I guess that's one way to pay the bills.

I've listened through Marrow of the Spirit once, but I'm reluctant to base my first real exposure of the album to a low-quality leak. I can't remember much of it (it's been two and a half weeks now), but I was pretty impressed as I recall, especially towards the end.
