We've got another thread about collaborating for a cover, most likely a KMO cover. What about making a song of our own? I'm thinking something kinda prog! A bit of relaxed keys, a bit of a droning piece, something with plenty of layers and textures. Who wants in? I'd LOVE someone with experience in drums or drum tracks to start some rhythms for me to just riff over. Failing that though if you've got experience playing or recording anything I'll take it! I'm thinking the pressure might be off to just record our own thing vs recording a cover, so if you're interested let me know. Specify what instrument(s) you play, what recording software you have, and your preferred style and we'll see what we can do.

I was gonna ask you if you wanted to team up on doing our own music. Im more than willing to join up with you on anything Baldguy. But i am in the same position like you are, where i need a drum pattern.

I sent you a PM Deadwing so we can narrow it down but we can flesh things out here too. Which instruments do you play best? Which one or two would you prefer to handle? I could adjust some beats accordingly.

I'm going to bump this back to the front. I've been using Mixcraft and really enjoying it. Easy to get beats down, easy to piano roll some programmed synth. It gives you a pretty long trial version where you can do anything in full. Once it expires, you cannot mix down your tracks but you can continue to work on projects without any noticeable restraints.
So, I'm back to check and see if we've got any more interested parties. Ideally, I want someone who can seriously program beats, play good keyboard, or lay down nice rhythm guitar. If you're at all interested, let's chat. Post what you can do!
