I really consider Moore the Miles Davis of the genre.
Was just wondering if Kevin has ever considered a collaboration with any jazz musicians. ( Kind of like what Sting did after he left the police, but obviously it wouldnt sound anything like that..)
could be pretty interesting! hmmm a jazz version of wait for sleep...i really think that might be totally amazing! Sung by a female vocal jazz singer.
any thoughts?

that'll be interesting... if Moore feels like he wanna to incursion in jazz will be good, i guess!! i'm not a jazz fan tho... but i don't hate it! i can't really give u a real opinion of this 'cause i dunno anything about jazz xD

Maybe. I mean, he did say in the Nonelouder interview that he's looking to do a more raw stripped down type of music with a band. I'd be up for that.

well it doesnt have to be like that necessarily...i was just particularly moved by A Portrait of Tracy at that moment so i posted it as an example. There are plenty of amazing jazz musicians that could provide a very interesting ensemble for kevins tunes. I feel like his music is almost jazz anyway, but , and this is also interesting, his ensembles are usually made of of sort of prog/prog-metal musicians. some of these guys would be cool. www.youtube.com/watch?v=skU7KID5erI(by the way i really liked this album)
