I listened to "The Power To Believe" a couple years ago, I thought it was as good as anything they'd ever done.
They are certainly one of a kind. Robert Fripp is a master of those polyrhythm guitar parts.

Well i have been a fan kind of on and off for a number of years now, but to be honest i really dont know what "polyrythm guitar" means it sounds cool though

What I mean by it is when they do like one pattern in 6/8, and overlay a pattern in 7/8 and eventually they get back in sync. It seems like you hear that sort of thing a lot with them.

these are the guys who started it all...the PROG MOVEMENT! i have so much love for this band. they were waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of their time and i can't believe they started in 68'. its amazing how the beatles and the stones were everything to the listener at that time. little did the average persone know that King Crimson is 4 times the musicianship both those bands are. but then again....average people...lol The kings of course could not be marketed because they don't adhear to any bogus commercialized trends. this is much of the way today for prog listeners and fans who wonder why their beloved prog band hero's don't get more adulation and respect in the music world. Personally, i'm angered by it but i'm just so happy that i know where the real talent lies.....SCrew YOU Radio!!
