Last night, for the second time, I put my really good headphones on, turned my music up as loud as it would go (my ears were...hurting xD) and randomly listened to Moore. It was INSANE! If anyone else here does any kind of artwork, you know that some artists take drugs/alcohol to get more in touch with their subconscious/deeper realms of the mind. Instead, I have always used music. I've always loved to paint/draw when under the influence of really good music. Last night was so great!!! I fell into that sleep state where a tiny part of me was still there, but images were just racing through my head from the music (and you know how obscure some of Moore's stuff is, my mind just took off!). Moore is so magical...it was such a great experience, but I don't have any of my paints anymore. Does anyone else experience this, or have any other techniques for creating art?

i watched my roommate paint one of the most amazing pieces i've ever seen. it took him over a month and was all inspired by radiohead albums. we would get home from work and put on all their albums he would paint and i would read and have a look at his progress from time to time. pretty sure he did a similar thing to aenima in highschool.
