Watching Rambo II and I thought I'd jot down the dialogue used in New Mama. Murdock: Colonel...you sure he's still not imbalanced from the war? We can't afford to have anybody involved in this mission who might crack under pressure in that hell.
Colonel Trautman: Pressure? Let me just say that Rambo's the best combat vet I've ever seen. A pure fighting machine with only a desire to win a war that someone else lost. And if winning means he has to die, he'll die. No fear, no regrets. And, uh, one more thing. What you choose to call hell, he calls home.New mama's got a sun in her eyes No clouds are in my changing skies Each morning when I wake up to rise I'm livin' in a dreamland Changing times, ancient reasons That turn to lies Throw them all away Head in hand, gift of wonders to understand And open all the way Colonel Trautman: Since you're going in solo, you'll have to rely on more equipment than you've ever used before. And use it. What I'm saying is don't try the blood and guts routine. Let technology do most of the work. And John, I want you to try to forget the war and remember the mission. The old Vietnam's dead.
Rambo: Sir, I'm alive; it's still alive, isn't it?New mama's got a sun in her eyes No clouds are in my changing skies Each morning when I wake up to rise I'm livin' in a dreamland www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kova_IEojBwFrom the 2003 OSI Office of Strategic Influence limited edition bonus cd Neil Young cover
