Some people here used to be on the official Chroma Key board (I used to lurk a bit). Some of us are newcomers. So, not everyone here knows each other, and this off-topic board was sort of sitting here alone. So I thought we could have a thread where we introduced ourselves, and maybe said a bit about ourselves, where we came from, or whatever we feel comfortable talking about. So, I'm Gary. I live in Scotland. I used to lurk a bit on the official board, but never posted. I'm here because one of my internet buddies (Hi, Art! ) told me about the place. I thought it was a cool idea to have a sort of centralised place for Kevin Moore fans, so clung to the idea. I have two cats and if encouraged I have no problem boring everyone here with pictures and anecdotes related to them - far too much of my life is wasted on them. I play guitar and record quite a bit (in a sort of semi-extreme metal vein, mostly), and I like to think that I'm not completely awful. So, how about you?

My name is Morten and I was born i '73, hence the username. I live in Vestby in Norway with my girlfriend, my beautiful 3 year old son, Eivind, and a cat I used to hang on the CK-forum under the name Morion. I play the guitar and keyboards, but the instruments are mostly collecting dust nowadays... I work as a building engineer at a local building contractor where I spend most of my days in front of a PC at the head office.

I'm Annie, 23 years old from Brazil. I used to be the mod at the old CK forum. A lot of things changed since the forum shutdown though.. my mother died, i lived a month with my grandma, another month with my dad and so on until i moved to a new place with my sister. and my cat thor. Last year i FINALLY got into veterinary school and i had to move again to this damned small town in sao paulo state where i spend weekdays and then come back to sao paulo city (i miss my cat) on weekends. gary, i already like you. you have cats and probably a cute funny scottish accent. do you have a beard? (note: i'm not hitting on him!)i thiiiiiiiiink i remember you, morten! ;D ah btw i dont have internet at vet school, so chances are that i wont be seeing this forum until god-knows-when-i'll-come-back.

I don't have a beard, sadly. I have the most unmanly facial hair in the world.
One of my cats is also called Thor, though.

My name is Mike. I live on Long Island, NY, where coincidentally is where Kevin grew up. (Lucky me!) I'm 30 years old now (holy shit!), and I write for a newspaper called Newsday in NY. I am not marriedand I live on my own. I got into Kmo in 1996, my first year of college. I had already owned Awake, but never listened to it much. This guy on my hallway was really into DT and would blast the first three songs of I&W throughout the hallway. I loved it and asked him what it was. From there, I bought my own I&W cd and starting listening to Awake more and just fell in love Kevin and followed his CK stuff. I tend to over-analyze Kev's yrics, as you all will see, so i'll try not to do that as much lol.

aww, damn. well it's weird that we both have cats called thor. usually huge dogs are called thor, not small cute cats. lol mike, i think we started talking when i was 18 or something. years fly, eh? geez. i'm so damn annoyed today. my housemates brought their boyfriends home yesterday and i'm the only one alone there. plus, my uni is on a strike and we dont have lunch or buses anymore. i hate this damned town and there are still 5 days until i can go back to sao paulo. I CANT WAIT. and obviously i have no idea why i'm even mentioning this, BUT i'll make a thread about complaints/venting once i have enough time AND interwebz. so yea, nice to meet you new guys and good to see the good old times people around too.

Hi, I'm Ceren, I live in England though I am Turkish (unfortunately I haven't been to Turkey for a while, my plan was to find KM in Istanbul but I am a year late for that now!). I have an adorable little girl and I love KM to bits. His music has been helping me through some tough shit lately and I think I got into CK and OSI about 2 years ago even though I heard of them earlier. So that's me in a nutshell :-) Oh and Wiche, thanks for directing me here from the Facebook fan page ;-)

Mebert, I've been a Kevmo fan for ages (Images and Words, Awake, WDADU), somehow I did not get into his projects as deeply back then. So not exactly new but new - ish CK / OSI fan is more like it. However it is great to be here, it feels like home as I like to go on and on about the man for ages, and now I feel that I am in the right place to do that!

My name is Luca. I'm from Italy. I live in Alps, between cows and marmots I knows Kevin since I&W. One rainy day I found myself in a commercial center wasting my time waiting for a better wheater. I saw DAFR in a music shop and I bought it. It was "strange" at the beginning, my expectations were all focused on prog music...but then it was amazing and inspiring!!! Kevin means a lot for me. I admire him, exept the fact he's so far from his fans, it's annoying, irritating... But I love all of his work. I was a loyal reader of CK forum, and, after that, a loyal reader of the onthepage forum. Now, in these new forum Mebert provided to us, I'm trying to write also I'm happy to share my passion for Kevin with you guys. Luca

I'm Dyah from Indonesia. I know Kev because I love DT's Images And Words.
I admire Kev a lot, he's so inspiring, for his beautiful lyrics and music, and also his great decision to walk out from DT in order to defend his musical idealism. A decision that most of people will never dare to take.
he's amazing...and also mysterious. full of passion
I love him
